Dr. Jackman earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology from Brigham Young University in 2005. He served a mission for his church in Peru for two years where he learned and became fluent in Spanish. He then went on to earn a bilingual Doctor of Optometry Degree from the Inter-American University of Puerto Rico. Dr. Jackman is certified by the National Board of Examiners in Optometry and the Texas Optometry Board. He has a wonderful wife, three beautiful daughters and a very busy young son. Chris is a member of the American Optometric Association and Northeast Texas Optometric Society.

Dr. Susan Nelson graduated from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock with a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Masters in Business Administration from Arkansas State. She earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from Inter-American University of Puerto Rico in 2008. Dr. Nelson is certified by the National Board of Examiners in Optometry and the Texas State Board. She is married to Mark, who is also an optometrist, and blessed with 2 young children, Kinsley and Layton. She enjoys being with family, traveling, and Disney.

Lauren - Office Manager

Lauren started in the Optometry field in early 2013 as a technician/front desk staff member. During which time she taught herself the in's and out's of insurance and medical billing. She joined our Anna Eyecare Family in October of 2015, as our Billing Manager until 2022 when she became our Office Manager. On top of managing Anna Eyecare, Lauren is a wife and mother of two boys with a small zoo of pets. She's active in her son's sports groups as well as active in her local scout pack. Her family has a love for sports and the outdoors.

Courtney - Optician

Courtney joined the Anna Eyecare Family in May 2022 after working over 10 years in the optical field. She is currently pursing her dream of becoming a Surgical Tech at Collin College. She is a wife and mother of three beautiful children. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her kids and husband.

Berenice - Optician

Berenice joined the Anna Eyecare Family in early 2023 as an optician with 5 years of experience in the optical field. She has a passion for helping patients find the right pair of glasses for themselves. In her free time she enjoys attending flea markets with her husband. She believes family is the most important thing in life and enjoys every moment she can with her family.

Kathy - Front Desk/Scheduler

Kathy joined the Anna Eyecare Family in December of 2022 as our Front Desk/Scheduler. She has a passion for helping patients so they have the best experience in our office. She is a proud supporter of our Troops and her local community. She has been happily married for 15 years and has 3 children and 9 wonderful grandchildren.
